Which Yoshi's Island levels are the most annoying to get 100% or just complete?
Jul 31, 2018 This is a 100% Walkthrough of the Extra levels from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the Super Nintendo. Also known as Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island for the Gameboy Advance. To append stars next to the logo at the game's title screen, you must get 100 points in the secret Extra Stage in a given world. The Extra Stage in itself is unlocked by getting 100 points on the other eight levels in the world. One star will appear for each Extra Stage completed in such a manner, for a total of up to six stars at the title screen. I would like to thank my friend Albert Sare for being such a Yoshi fanatic and helping me through these extra.
The Top Ten Hardest Yoshi's Island Levels
1Kamek's RevengeIs this the level after the bowser castle?
A variety of challenges to get 100. I recommend using a pow or similar power up at the helicopter section.
This level was pretty short but had one of the hardest skiing segments in Yoshi's Island history particularly that sudden change into the helicopter near the end. Never 100%ed it.
2A Light in the DarkAgain the skiing section is the icing on an unusually long and treacherous level.
3Superhard AcrobaticsIt surely is super-hard particularly at the beginning with the pinwheel platform and the potted ghosts.
4Rompin' Stompin' ChompsSide scrolling levels are never easy on the difficulty but this one can be highly irritating due to all of the things landing on your head
5Poochy Ain't StupidThe fact that this is an auto-scroller, you have to rely on Poochy for most of it, AND a single mess-up means you die, means this level was a complete nightmare to get 100% on. Honestly, this should be #1.
So impossible to beat
You Need to Ride on Poochy for the Entire Level, if you get off of him, you'll die in the lava, staying on poochy would be simple, if not you're going for 100% and the Fact Poochy Controls Awkward
6Quit it Already Tap-Tap!An unnecessary Tap-Tap themed level. The rising wind section leaves absolutely no room for error just like the mine cart segment later.
8Items are Fun!Yoshi Island Mario
Items may be fun but trying to get 100% in this level isn't.
9Yoshi's Island Bonus Levels
KEEP MOVING!Another long level that is hard to 100%. Though the biggest problem for me was always near the beginning with the rotating platforms.
The Contenders
11King Bowser's Castle (Door 3)The Tap-Tap chase is the worst part of this level for me, no matter how many tries I just can't find all of the collectibles AND keep all my stars.
12Fight Toadies with ToadiesSurprisingly I've never had a problem with The Impossible Maze but this one has cost me many lives particularly the... Auto-scrolling section.
13FrustrationWhich level even is this? I don't recall any level ever called Frustration, unless this is a ROM hack.
All melons on this was rly hard
14All Aboard the Terrain TrainOf corse, I spent 4 flat legit hours trying to beat it and FINALLY I beat it! I did not collect everything at once, I first collected smiley flowers. Next red coins, took me 2 hours. And finally star man to 30 took me an hour and a half!
I’m relieved
Particularly, this level was hard for me, but it was just to get me prepped up for the WHITE HOT HARD SNOW GO MOUNTAIN LEVEL! It’s difficult to get a 100% on this level, but if your a hardcore gamer, someone who’s played hard games like Contra and Ghosts n’ Goblins, then this is your secret level!
15The Fort of Moltz the Very GoonieThis level has very tight platforming with the face statues while making very precise jumps between spikes. This is possibly the hardest level in the main game (not Secret or Extra).
16Snow Go MountainAnd I though the previous 4 secret levels were bad enough, Snow Go Mountain has you jumping on Bullet Bills and Goonies to get to the warp pipe leading to the area to leave the level! Did Panga make this level, as well as the other 5 secret levels? Hopefully the sixth secret level isn't as bad.
17Leapin' Lava MeltdownWell, I was right, Leapin' Lava Meltdown was hard for me, but it didn't cost me 1 million lives like Snow Go Mountain did. But the part that angered me the most was the rising lava part of the second and final area. But still, if you're a daredevil, I'd recommend this to you if you're looking for a challenge.
18Watch Out for LakituI've been playing the game for a while, and I can't beat this particular level. Ironically, Lakitu is barely something that you have to watch out for. Overall, this was a difficult level.

World 1 is the first world of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. The world contains eight normal levels and two secret levels. Its extra level is Extra 1: Poochy Ain't Stupid, and its secret level is Secret 1: Exercise in the Skies. The world's theme is a grassy plain in spring.
Levels of World 1[edit]The following is a list of each level in World 1. Make Eggs, Throw Eggs[edit]This level is an easy course that teaches the player some things about the game. The level features Shy-Guys, Fly Guys and the Chomp Rock. Watch Out Below![edit]The second level is easy too. However, at the beginning, Yoshi must run quickly because Incoming Chomps will fall down and create holes in the ground. This level also introduces the transformation of Yoshi into a Helicopter. The Cave Of Chomp Rock[edit]This level takes place inside a cave containing many Nipper Plants and Chomp Rock. The level also features a Minigame room. Burt The Bashful's Fort[edit]The first fort is an easy level. At the beginning Yoshi must be careful because some walls can fall down and squash him when Yoshi runs past them. The level features the Burts, Lava Bubble and much more. The boss of the fort is Burt the Bashful, a giant Burt who jumps very high. Yoshi must throw eggs at him to defeat him. Hop! Hop! Donut Lifts[edit]This level is slightly harder than the previous four because it is an auto-scrolling level, so Yoshi must follow the path to get to the end. The level features the Donut Lifts as says the name, which fall if Yoshi stands on them for too long. Shy-Guys On Stilts[edit]This is an easy level with many Shy-Guys on Stilts. This special kind of Shy-Guy cannot be swallowed by Yoshi when on their stilts. This level contains two dark cave areas. At the end, a 1-Up balloon will appear. Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy[edit]This is a forest level with a Minigame Room and many Fuzzies. It also features the extremely rare Melon Bug that helps Yoshi to defeat enemies like Tap-Taps. Salvo The Slime's Castle[edit]This is the first castle of the game. It is an easy level, however Yoshi must be careful with the spiked platforms and the rotating cylinders. The boss is Salvo the Slime, a giant Lemon Drop. Yoshi has to throw eggs at it to defeat it. Poochy Ain't Stupid[edit]This is the first 'extra' level in the game. The main focus of it is Poochy, who Yoshi must ride on to get past the level. If Yoshi falls off of Poochy, he'll fall into lava and lose a life. Exercise in the Skies[edit]Available only in Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. This is the first secret level in the game. As the name implies, Yoshi will have to traverse through cloud platforms and other types of airborne terrain most of the time. Bonus-1[edit]Collecting 800 points (700 in the remake) will unlock Flip Cards to play anytime.
